Summary10192: can't delete an attribute
Description

I can add and edit but not delete an attribute.

If I try to set it to blank this is not saved. Looks like it is initially, but it doesn't stick.

Even if it did this doesn't reflect the data status before adding it, since no entry in table CPD_participant_attribute would be present by default.

The closest thing I can do is replace it with a <space> which would act different for searches than a <null>.

Hi Olle,

Is there a test install of 2.5 somewhere so I could try it there? I am quite hesitant to install 2.5 on our production system - when I looked at it a few weeks ago the attribute functionality was worse than in 2.06.

OK, so preview.limesurvey.org/admin works, even if preview.limesurvey.org gives PHP error.

You have hidden the central participant panel well in the new interface. Under "user" is not the first place I looked... Do others use this so rarely that you decided not to have an icon on the main screen for this?

In there I can no longer see the listing of surveys filled out by this user at all (maybe it only shows if the user has filled one out?) and I also don't get any buttons under "actions", nor does the Attribute name/value pair appear to be saved when I just hit enter.

Anyway, attaching screen shot of no buttons for actions. Firefox 42.

Hi ttenbergen, if you want any change in the admin interface (like the central participant panel), just ask for it in the forum, so people can debate about it.

Keeping the surveys in the participant panel may be debatable, but missing buttons and unsaved values seem to be bugs that don't need discussing, no? Do you really want me to take those to the forum?
