For the preview group inside question editing, why not.
What we really need is more flexibility, modularity, so people can enable/disable add/remove buttons and links everywhere.

If we can do it actually with plugin, why not.

But i work a lot with survey : and really testing and logic is really needed everywhere.
I know some people working a lot with survey : and they use this link a lot.

Maybe Mazi have another advices.

PS: when go at my client office : they use a lot labtop computer, not desktop.

• secretary : desktop computer
• manager : labtop computer (less width and height for the screen)
• computer specialist : dektop and labtop.

yeah I really need to test the whole interface on a laptop with a little screen.

You add preview group, but actually it's not the only needed one ... just an example .

Actually 2.50 seems really less usuable than 2.06. Better "look" (maybe), but less usuable.

Yes I agree. I'm going to put back some preview buttons a little bit everywhere.
2.06 had a totally unusual ergonomy. It was "very usuable" for people knowing it very well. For new comers, it was just hell.

I spoke for "click number" for some feature.

Well, in 2.0x, all the menus were displayed all the time (unless when going to some part of the app, where inclued main menu was removed, like for tokens). So for sure, not a lot of click was needed. But the number of click is not the only criteria of ergonomy today. One of the most important is called "Charge de Travail" (yes, frenches are by far today the best in Ergonomy).

Actually : the left menu have more information than really need (i think) and i don't really understand it (after a lot of using)

But to speak truly : the missing preview buttons, IMHO, is just the best critic that have been done to the interface by far (and it impressed here some of the people who was supposed to do that kind of reports ;-) ).

So, just continue asking for more, it's ok with me. Just stay constructive.

(by the way, in the future, I'd like to make menus really flexible, so users can add/remove what they want where they want)

Menu:

• Test/preview/validate : Question summary + preview group/question + validate survey/group/question logic (other ?)
• Answer tools : answers list (edit)/default answer
• Sub question tool : subquestion list (edit)/ relevance ? / settings (if we have one after/ default answers
• Advanced settings menu : menu by advanced settings Group (+ Global) (maybe in "popup")
• Navigation : got to survey/go to group/perv,next question (in survey, not only in group)

This can be menu or tab or accordion. Better with ajax but not needed

I think 10612 is related to this bug. You should enter into a question group properties to remove it. Why not a button in question group list?

The quick menu plugin resolves this problem.
