I suggest to change the use of fixed text to translatable text.

In admin/templates I have changed line 404 to:

$thissurvey['description']=$clang->gT("This is a sample survey description. It could be quite long.")."

".$clang->gT("But this one isn't.");

and in the same php line 416:

$navigator="<input class=\"submit\" type=\"submit\" value=\"".$clang->gT("Next")." >> \" name=\"move\" />\n";
