Description

While extending Vanilla theme in LS 7.5.0, in debug mode, I got this warning message (marked as error)

  1. install LS 7.5.0
  2. create a child theme based on Vanilla
  3. enable debug=1 in config.php
  4. add screen frontend logger in config.php

Expected result

No warnings or error shown

Actual result

Error: No "dropdownoptions" nodes were found.

I found exception is related to SurveyThemeHelper.php

The issue is well reproducible with CLogRouter, no need for setting the "debug" value.

While reproducing it, I also encountered an additional minor issue with the theme editor when debug mode is enabled.
With either debug => 1 or debug => 2, the ACE editor fails to load for any extended theme. The browser requests /tmp/assets/<hash>//src/ace.js which returns 404 (Not Found). This then causes: "Uncaught ReferenceError: ace is not defined", and the ACE editor (#changes__ace) is not initialized.
