This is not a bug.

The wrapping of the labels is caused by screen-width. In most cases the labels are given a defined width so that they will all wrap at the same screen width.

If we give them width:auto, they will wrap at different screen-widths depending on their text length resulting in an even worse appearance.

I'm sorry but I do not understand your explanation. Even if I display the check boxes as a single column, the labels still appear below the boxes (see the screenshot). How can this be a screen-width issue? There is plenty of space, and nothing else on the page wraps except for the check box and radio button labels.

Tony, to be honest, I did not understand it fully, either. Can't the label width on these be extended?

Ok, after discussion in the dev meeting wee agreed that changing this currently is too much of an effort.

You can still manually adjust this by adjusting your template CSS but a solution that fixes this for good will be only available in a future LimeSurvey version (maybe 2.06 or 2.10).

This one is really difficult to fix for whole template and browser.

And more : we have to fix 3 times (css/ul/table)

Tony : think getskeleton or citronade system can be apply to all template (Use a floating radio/checkbox) but reaaly specific , and no centering lidt.

Can you give an example how we can fix this manually? It is really a problem with the templates mentioned. All labels are placed under the checkbox/radiobutton instead of to the right.

OK, so unless I want to pay $24 I have to live with this? I have no problem paying that sum but just wonder if this is supposed to be like this in the official release? If this can't be fixed without a lot of work I suggest the template is removed (and all others with the same problem) until a fix. Offering a template which looks like this makes no justice to LS.

As I said, feel free to steal the correct CSS from the demo survey.

The general problem with the shipped surveys is that they are outdated and the user who has once added these has left years ago in most cases.

Feel free to help us and provide a fix which we can review and then we can update the core files.
