Summary04592: Default value for multilangage survey don't working
Description

The default value for list, list dropdown and multi checkbox don't working at expected.

default value are OK only for base langage of the survey.

Steps To Reproduce

create a multilangage survey, add a default value for a list . or import survey join : english is OK, french are bad

Additional Information

multi checkbox without "Use same default value across languages:" are OK

For patching : there are 2 solution:

  • when adding a default value : create the default value for each langage : more easy (i think) , but actual survey had the bug.
  • when create the session : test if default value for all langage or not, get the good default value in function.

No, i just fix for exporting, the file was done with the fix.

I don't search for fix because there 2 solution : the first seem more easy , but if i put a english survey with default value and after i add another langage : this langage doesn't have default value.

For the second i look for a while (default value at session with conditionnal if same default value ) but it seem more complicated (using lime_questions.same_default i think), but it the best solution.

Then before search for a fix i prefer to ask what is solution to take.

(PS: i think it's a bad idea to have different value for each langage, it's great only for text question, but there are no default value for text question ;))
