Summary20685: Statistics view displays Bar chart (shows Pie chart) although Pie chart is configured in question settings(see screenshot)
Description

The chart type displayed in the Statistics/Responses view does not match the chart type configured in the question settings.

For the affected question, Pie chart is selected under:

Question settings → Statistics → Show in statistics

However, when viewing the statistics in the Responses/Statistics view, the question is displayed as a Bar chart.

Steps To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce

Open a survey containing a question that supports statistics charts.
Open the question settings
Show in statistics.- Select Pie chart as the chart type.
Save the question.
Open Responses → Responses & Statistics.
View the statistics for the affected question.

Expected result

The question should be displayed as a Pie chart, matching the chart type configured under the question's Statistics settings.

Actual result

The question is displayed as a Bar chart, even though Pie chart is selected in the question settings.

Additional. Information :
The PDF export subsequently uses the chart type stored in the question settings and therefore correctly produces a Pie chart. The PDF behavior itself is not the issue being reported here.

The "Show in statistics" option in question settings is for public statistics (Survey > Presentation > Presentation > Public statistics). The responses statistics are separate from that.

However, the option in the question settings indeed looks confusing for users. An improvement ticket will be created out of this one.
