Summary18939: Cannot access surveys from survey list after moving to different page of list
Description

After clicking on any of the buttons at the bottom of the survey list to move a page forward or backwards in the list, links to the surveys are no longer clickable and none of the surveys on any further page of the survey list can be viewed or edited.

Only the links on the very first page (when called up for the first time) work, but clicking on the page-forward or page-back buttons essentially breaks the links.

The only workaround to access to access surveys that are not on the first page is to show 100 lines per page, so that all surveys are on the first page. Clearly, the bug is in the way the buttons are programmed. Of course, this means that users with more than 100 surveys in the list are essentially locked out of surveys >100.

You need to have at least 11 active, inactive or expired surveys to be able to reproduce this.
Go to list of surveys, showing 10 surveys per page.
Click on any of the buttons « < 1 2 > » at the bottom of the page to move to the next page

Expected result

The next page of surveys should be shown, and the surveys in the list should be clickable so that a survey can be viewed in detail or edited.

Actual result

The next page of surveys is shown.
None of the surveys on this page is clickable, so they cannot be viewed or edited.
The "..." box on the right is also not clickable.
A text line "nullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnullnull" appears at the bottom of the page.

The "nullnullnull" etc is resolved but you still cannot click on a link on a second page of a survey list.

As soon as the paginator is used then the js to enable the links is either breaking or not being fired.

See the attached video for a demo of what happens on 6.1.8

Still not working in 6.1.8:

  • clicking a survey on the second page of a survey list does not work
  • clicking on a user on the second page of a user list does not work

These issues have been fixed in 6.1.8:

  • "nullnullnull" text no longer appears
  • the "..." box on the right now works again on the second page of a survey list or user list
