Summary03487: NULL database values for start/expiry dates are not exported correctly
Description

Hi,
I wanted to bulk-edit some survey questions using vim. None of my surveys had a start or expirty date set.

I used the "backup entire database" feature to export an sql dump to my PC and do the edits. However, when I re-imported the database using phpmyadmin none of the surveys was accessible. I spotted the problem in the start/expiry dates which now were set to 1999.

I checked the sql dump and I realized that the NULL database values were represented as "" in the dump. This is interpreted as time-0 during importing. I changed "" with NULL in the dump, re-imported and everything was fine again.

Additional Information

I am not sure if the described problem only affects the entries of the surveys table (where I spotted it) or it also applies to other tables as well. My guess is that it is probably a bug in the export functionality, so it will apply to all NULL values in date table fields.
