Summary20179: Open Access Mode does not work any more
Description

I have activated a survey in open access mode, and after doing that, the system reports, that the survey is now available as open access. However, it simply isn't open access.

Trying to do a test interview after activation results in standard page asking to enter participant code although the survey has been activated in open access mode.

Hint: the survey is a copy of a survey, that has been used in the past in closed mode.

Steps To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce

  1. import attached *.lss
  2. Activate in open access mode
  3. do a test interview

Expected result

LS is asking for participation code

@AndreHahn Just to confirm, you are not using react question editor on cloud, you are using CE?

On cloud using react question editor I couldn't reproduce this, but I saw that the imported survey was initially activated as "Link with access code" (see screenshot). When I changed it to "Anyone with link", everything works as intended.

On CE, I tested this locally and noticed that when I activate the imported survey and leave "Open access" as option it really requests a participant's code. This is a bug.

Yeah, indeed, we are using the Community Edition of Lime Survey, and have booked your comfort update service.

Thanks for looking at the issue, and solving it so fast.

Kind regards and all the best to the great team

I just test with last github CE version : no issue

On cloud using … "Link with access code"

Done only with plugin ? For forms too ?

I try to understand how you manage the new access system : allowing participant table, but allow access without a token.

But you need to set "New design" for this …
But is search where is checked too on application/controllers/survey/SurveyIndex.php

Currently : i can set token enable survey bit without control of access in Cloud

Closed access requires token to access. Open access can be used with or without the registration - if you register then you receive a token to access the survey.

Oh :
Got it ! Survey participants screen is misleading !

Showing Survey participant summary when there are no participant table !

To be reported ? I really think there are a participant table …………
