Summary08825: HTML Editor -> Image Button -> Upload: does not work in IE11
Description

In IE11, when using the Image Button -> Upload Tab -> There is no File Upload Form. Instead, only a scrollbar is visible. Also, the Popup Window seems to break, as it is not possible to press the "OK" & "Cancel" Buttons to close the Popup afterwards.

Steps To Reproduce

-Edit Question Text with Popup HTML Editor
-Press Image Button in Toolbar
-Change to Upload Tab
-No Upload Form
-"Cancel" Button stops working

I can reproduce this .
In the IE console I see

SCRIPT5: Access denied

File: en, Line: 21, Column: 1017

Can't figure out why IE is being stubborn here - but it is, as always, some non-standard idiocy by IE.

I can reproduce it too but I don't think it's a LimeSurvey bug. It appears that CKEditor 3x does not support IE11.

What about adding the following to the header to tell IE11+ to render as IE10?

Using a different browser is not easy in a company environment with strict software rules. There is another temporary workarround: The "Browse Server" Button in the "Image Info" Tab of the very same popup lets you upload files with IE11.

I knew about this workaround when creating this ticket, I just wanted to help you guys by reporting a bug.

Upload button was removed due to other issues, too. All actions are done now using the server browser.
