Still happening in latest: Build 130206 Another screenshot attached |
Tested in latest build 130213, same problem |
I am getting the same issue, also appears in drop down boxes on the survey front end for all users. |
I cannot reproduce this. The attached survey does also not seem to match the screenshots. Please attach matching screenshots for the attached survey. Thank you. |
On further investigation this seems to be a bug in PHP 5.3.3 . Try updating to a more recent version and let us know if the issue is resolved. |
Attached another screenshot matching the attached .lss, the word "WORKKKKKK" becomes "WO KKKKKK" and is making me want some stir fry :) Also these are on production servers so upgrading PHP isn't trivial, would have to do a full round of testing of the apps running against PHP on those servers etc. Is there a bug report against 5.3.3 you found which makes you think that is the issue? Thanks Carsten, appreciate it! |
The bug is in the PCRE library that is behind certain functions of 5.3.3. See http://php.net/manual/en/pcre.installation.php where the changelog for the following PCRE version states
\R is what making the problem here (it is an identifier for Unicode line breaks) But for sure we will only know if you update. It is not reproducable here, so it must be a non-LimeSurvey issue. If you updated your PHP version and the issue is still there feel free to re-open this. |
