Description

Hi,
I encountered several problems during installation.
1. Language
During installation, select the language is French cause display bugs (after choosing the language from the beginning, select the [Back] button to see symptoms). This is visible in the video capture. (Mysql idem)

2. pg_dump and pg_restore
To dump no problem, cons after restore, care must be taken to restore the bytea parameter (for passwords) otherwise impossible to connect (see video).
If I change the schema name I have an error message (see attachments)

3. Changing the dump to compensate for a missing selection in the installation script.
I modified the dump to be able to choose:
- The postgres user (superuser) to create the database limesurvey_2_0
- Limesurvey_adm user (power user: CreateDB and CreateRole) to create the schema and populate the limesurvey base.

The scripts are properly conducted, but after not connect to the database:
The table "{{}} settings_global" for active record class "Settings_global" can not be found in the database.
This is the same mistake that changing the schema name.

4. Questions
Is it possible to choose the installation schema for postgres? (Provided in a new role?)
Is limesurvey combines schema name with a parameter in the database (I have not found anything in the config file)?

Should I make a Mantis?

5. nothing to do, but you never know.
To translate limesurvey the elements are present to translate the old version? -> If yes, I would take the missing elements to reach 100% (although there are words that I can not easily translate).

PS: The installation script is only a small part of the iceberg that I set up for my instances LimeSurvey.

But this one is not the same bug than after. 2: My user have for the db: CREATE to yes and CONNECT to yes. User need to create table for survey. And i don't have problem . my limesurvey user don't have acces to schema. 3. Did you want a parameter more (for mysql it can be done too) give the postgre for database creation and user creation. And give a user/pass for cretaion. It's more a feature request than a bug report. 4. Don't think 5 : FR is already at 100% \o/

You are responsible for creating a backup and restoring with all parameters properly set. I cannot reproduce the remaining issues and your screenshots are pretty non-saying to me. This is not a discussion board - if you have general question please use the forums. Please also only post one issue per bug report bug report. Thank you.
