Summary05971: Strange behavior of expression manager - static equation results not visible
Description

Hi, i am designing a survey for data entry purposes. I use a group by group format. I have one group where we enter the data and a second group where a number is displayed and written down for the user to know that this corresponds to the hard copy version I used the time() function from the expression manager to do that and saved it as an equation question. Then i use a text display question to show this equation but nothing gets displayed.

When equations do not include any dynamic (on page) change, the <span> element is populated with the proper value, but the javaSGQA variable for storing the value is not initialized with the proper value. So, downstream logic fails.

This is not a problem if the equation value is dynamically updated during the survey.
