Summary05476: File upload questions hidden by condition still mandatory
Description

I'd like to set a file upload question with a condition.
If the condition is true and the file upload question is consequently visibile, I'd like it to be mandatory.
The only way I found out is to set the minimum files number to 1, but users are asked to upload a file also when the condition is false and the question is not visible.
They get an error message and can't understand why.

Unfortunately the survey is in Italian.
In the first group, question n 0014 is enabled via condition, and I set it to have 1 file uploaded at least. If it’s not enabled because of the condition, the user gets an error message anyway.
The error message states: one or more files exceeded max size, or are not of the right type, or the min files number has not been reached.

Can you reproduce the problem with a small english sample survey?

If so, please attach it because I can not reproduce the problem.

Thanks for providing the test survey. I CAN REPRODUCE this issue: Clicking "no" at the first questions leads to the file upload question being not shown. When clicking submit there is a warning though that parameters of the file upload question (number of answers, file size, ...) are not meet even though the question was never shown and no file was uploaded.

That's right. I asked in the forum on how to avoid this behaviour. I wanted to show or hide upload questions via conditions, and make them mandatory if shown.
I explained that the only way I found was to set the min number of file to 1, but I got that problem.
Someone told me it's a bug... I don't know.
Maybe a "mandatory" option like all the other question types would suit for the job...
