Description

When attempting to filter survey by results with text fields, I always come up with no data found. When searching for other fields and data does come up, trying to browse it gives me an SQL syntax error.

"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'IN ('N') ORDER BY lime_survey_95846.id LIMIT 0,9' at line 1:SELECT * FROM lime_survey_95846 95846X2X12 IN ('N') ORDER BY lime_survey_95846.id"

And

"You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(95846X2X10SQ009 = 'Y') AND 95846X2X12 IN ('N') ORDER BY lime_survey_95846' at line 1:SELECT * FROMlime_survey_95846(95846X2X10SQ009= 'Y') AND95846X2X12IN ('N') ORDER BYlime_survey_95846`.id"

For example. I simply cannot "Browse" the results. And sometimes results won't come up at all.

I can reproduce the browse issue and it will be fixed in rev. 10209.

I cannot reproduce the filter text issue. What exactly are you entering in which field/question in statistics?

For example:

I will be searching the name of the Audit agent, and will come up with 0 results. Anything that requires an input field (and not a selection of Yes/No or pre-defined answers) will come up with nothing.

You will need to search with the full name or use the percent sign (%) as wildcard.

See documentation:
You can search the responses to a free text question type (and similar types) by entering a text. If you want to search for a partial string you can use the percentage sign (%) as wildcard. Example: If you look for 'Tom%' it will find entries with 'Tomb' and 'Tommy', etc.
