| Description | When showing a boilerplate question using the default template it always shows the red asterix in frnt of it, even though this question can never be mandatory and you cannot set it to "not mandatory" at the admin backend. | ||||

That is strange, have a look at my screenshot. Some more details: -> I used the question preview, maybe that is the difference? |

Same problem at question preview (using default template) at 1.90 RC3. |

boilerplate hides the mandatory selection in question edit... and it defaults to yes but because of hiding you cannot change it. It's in admin\questionhandling.php line 817 |

I still cannot reproduce this with 1.91RC3 (6766). I have tried the "Sample LimeSurvey Survey for v1.9" and a new test survey. Mazi, can you please attach the survey you are using? |

I was using the "Sample Survey for v1.8 (all questions plus most options)" version which In just attached. The red asteric is shown at:

Carsten, do you want to pick this one up as we discussed in the meeting a few weeks ago? It occurs when a mandatory question was previously something other than a boilerplate and then changed to boilerplate type. |
