04694: File download icon in browse screen appearing always - LimeSurvey bugs, patches and feature requests

(13343) texens (developer) 2010-10-25 20:04	Fixed the first issue "The file download icon for a particular response in the browse screen is appearing even though the survey does not even contain a file upload question" in r9335. The second issue viz "The file download icon for a particular response in the browse screen is appearing even though there were no files uploaded" is a little complex as it would involve rearranging the html output to an extent. Hence, leaving it as it is for now. Will fix later. The third issue: "The icon to download all files (on the bottom) is not functional". The bottom most icon is not supposed to download all the files, but only the files whose corresponding checkboxes have been checked. Try checking some of the boxes (or if you want to download all files, just check the first checkbox in the heading row) and clicking on the download icon. Its working fine at my end, let me know if it has any issues. texens

Regarding, "The icon to download all files (on the bottom) is not functional" I did not realize that. It woudl be great if there was a message saying something like "please select a couple entries first you want to download" if I click on it. because currently nothing happens if I have not selected anything and click.

(13375) texens (developer) 2010-10-29 05:23	Carsten, Yes, that sounds good. I'll add a warning message if someone tries to download files without selecting anything. Also, will add a button to the top line (next to the export buttons on the browse screen) to download all files in one go without having to select anything.
