Summary | 04662: Re-entering unfinished survey by passing token on URL starts at the beginning
Description | If token based answer persistance is used, when re-entering a survey passing the token on the URL and newtest=Y, the survey starts from the beginning.
Steps To Reproduce | Create token and partially fill out survey. Close browser, and browse to http://<limeserver>/index.php?sid=XXXXX&token=XXXXX&newtest=Y
Additional Information | If you go to index.php?sid=XXXXX&newtest=Y, then manually enter the token, it does start at the last page. Also, if you go to index.php?sid=XXXXX&token=XXXXX (without the newtest=Y) the survey starts at the last page. However, it seems like the newtest=Y should have consistent behavior.

Maybe do the link without the newtest=Y do the job. But maybe there are other problem. |

Yes, without the newtest=Y the survey continues where it was left off. I talked to Mazi and c_schmitz about this and they suggested filing a bug report because the newtest=Y parameter is not consistent. When passed without a token, it does not start at the beginning. When passed with a token, it does start at the beginning. In both cases, the answers previously selected are not erased. For my purposes, leaving the newtest=Y off and passing a token gets me the results I need, so if you think this is not a bug feel free to close or delete this issue. |
