I can't reproduce on latest build 8702

Well, the only build that is available for download on sourceforge is the 8691, so I could only test it with this one.

Did you try it with Chrome? I couldn't reproduce it with Firefox right now, so it might be a Chrome issue.

I'm closing this one because I can't reproduce either at the 1.90beta version.

1.90 beta3 release

Hmmm, sorry for reopening, but I remember that it even happend to me in 1.87 last week.

texens, I noticed that holch uses Chrome which I haven't installed. Can you please try to reproduce the problem?

Unable to reproduce in 1.90beta2 with Google Chrome 6.0.408.1 dev.

But the screenshot does show the "Copy Question" button when it should have been showing "Save question group" instead. So, I'm guessing that there is some misunderstanding on the "steps to reproduce" the aforementioned behaviour.

I can reproduce it everytime with LS 1.90 beta 2 (will update to 1.90 beta 3 later and give it a try as well). So here are the steps to get there:

• Open a survey
• Go to a survey group
• Click "Add new question to group"
• Decide that you should add the question actually to another group, thus...
• While you are still on the "Add new question" screen click directly on the button "Add new group to the survey".
• Then you will see that the button is still "Save question", but you are actually on the "Add question group" screen.
• When you click on the button it shows an error message, that the question can not be created. So it is not just the button text, but also the functionality behind it.

I have just tried to reproduce this behaviour with Firefox and I couldn't reproduce it. So it seems to be a Chrome issue. I have also tested it in Opera and not reproducable either.

My Google Chrome version is 4.1.249.1064 (45376), basically the latest officially available.

Actually I am not sure I can. I made an update and was really confused to still find 1.90beta 2 written at the footer. But the version number is the newest one.

I have been able to reproduce this bug on 1.90beta3 with Google Chrome "5.0.342.9 (43360) Ubuntu" (finally ;-))

On creating a new group, the dropdown for the "Question groups" should be set to "Please Choose" and not "Group 1" (see screenshot). And this is leading to the "Save Question" button instead of the "Add group button".

could you please take a look on this one. The buttons get all mixed up on Google Chrome. This problem, it seems is not restricted to just "Adding groups"; even on logging out of the LimeSurvey, the "Save Question" button is being displayed instead of the "Login" button.
I've been able to reproduce this bug on 1.90beta3 build 8754.

I've tested the sample survey with LS-8756/Chrome-5.0375.55 on both Vista and XP and it behaves fine.

Switching directly from "add a question" to "add a group" gives me either "Import question group" or "Save question group". Logging out from "add a question" also works fine.

I have checked and tested again with:

LS Version 1.90beta2 Build 8745 (why the heck is it saying beta 2, according to the build it should be beta3, as it is the latest available beta 3 version available on sourceforge.

Chrome 5.0.375.55 (latest official release)

The problem seems to be gone. I can't reproduce it anymore. Seems to work fine with Chrome 5.
