Hi Tony,

can you take a look at this?
It happens only if there is an update available and the .menubar-title-right div is shown. To provoke this just enter the build number 8002 in version.php.

Sure but more of a concern is that the update link doesn't appear at all in IE7 (at least for me) - investigating.

All fixed up and checked in at version 8044.

Extra spacing is removed in IE8 and the link is visible in IE7.
